I actually mean no harsh judgment. I'm sure the parents are brainwashed, lied to, very trusting. But still..... those poor children who cannot give informed consent.
Yes, I was injected as a child and subjected to various treatments, interventions, etc. by well-meaning parents who believed themselves to be doing the right thing. It has taken me years to reclaim my health, and first I had to learn that these childhood interventions were harmful to me. I believed in them, too, at the time. I continued to subject myself to medical interventions for another couple of decades before I got a clue.
To this day, my parents still believe in modern medicine and they have multiple, daily pills, a couple of doctor appointments each week (be sure to make an appointment on your way out!) and have taken the maximum allowable COVID shots. It is a wonder that they are still with us.
But they did tearfully beg and plead with me to get the jabs so that I would not die. And they did think that shunning unvaccinated people was probably wise. We don't talk about that. They get upset and their minds shut down. It's the saddest thing.
Oh my, I can relate because the pain is still so real that it stings.
The pain of being shunned at Christmas because my family made a conscious decision NOT to be jabbed has opened my eyes to true and pure ignorance. It is the kind of disappointment in "family" that kept us from my daughter's grandpa. His final Christmas will be one remembered differently than the others...

I love my in laws. They're a stark contrast to my own parents (who were abusive in different ways). Like Dani above, I've been vaccine injured since childhood and react badly to almost all pharmaceutical drugs I have tried (my metabolism doesn't seem to work like the average person) and even some natural herbs. So needless to say the COVID jab was not an option for me (let alone my dubiousness of a medical treatment where clinical trials hadn't completed or the fact that it was a novel mRNA therapy). My inlaws of course were all in on the government propaganda. They were extremely nervous about us coming at Christmas (2021). Despite the fact that we did a RAT test beforehand (negative of course) and had zero symptoms, they still had this palpable undercurrent of fear. They'd also made it clear that no one was to talk about the jabs at Christmas (we hadn't planned to because Christmas?) as though they were expecting US to be the jerks about it. I would have hoped they would know me and their own child better than that.
Anyway, it was really hurtful. I have said nothing, because I don't want our relationship to be strained. But what rubs salt in the wound is that some months, maybe a year later, they got COVID while away on holiday (within our country but in a different part of it). They actually started getting symptoms before they left but assumed it was a cold or something (because being jabbed and brainwashed they thought they wouldn't get COVID). Did they cut their holiday short? Nope. They made a conscious choice to continue their holiday and even interacted with other holiday goers without informing them they were exposed. No masks. No care.
I doubt we will ever get an apology for the way they treated us. I'm not sure they are even aware that they treated us as though we were lepers or the hypocrisy of the actions. I still love my in laws, but the pain runs deep.

Busy reading the book turtles all the way down... vaccine science and myth- in it states that the placebo especially with vaccine studies , is not an innert substance that won’t cause any reaction in the body such as saline solution, but a substance that can either be a predecessor vaccine of the current vaccine being tested, or it can be another type of vaccine for the same illness, or it can be the vaccine solution minus the vaccine specific ingredient. So The adverse results of the tested vaccine are compared against an innert / saline solution but to something that can and probably will cause some sort of reaction. So they compare rotten eggs, with rotten eggs so to speak.
Holy water use comes to mind.... buy then my mind wanders to the Catholic priests "blessing" that water.... Perhaps it's best to only say the drug name once.

I wonder what drugs were given in the placebo?? I have read in many clinical trials another type of vaccine or drug (ie: measles alone vs MMR). They would inject measles in the placebo group vs the group receiving the MMR. Truly scewing results in their favor as it was not a true non drug placebo group. Just a thought regarding this trial, hence the reason so many died in the placebo group.
I couldn’t conclude that whatever causes “severe RSV” (it’s not due to a virus, since they don’t exist :) that it’s enough of a clinical problem to warrant going to the trouble of prophylaxis, presumably of the entire elderly population.
The number of deaths isn’t surprising given the 6 month follow up period, the number of subjects and their age (36% were 70-79). I recall being lectured by a clinician that if you study test drugs in large, elderly populations for prolonged periods, you will have deaths on study drug (& on placebo). Better hope you don’t get an imbalance against you, because there’s no way out, even if you think it’s bad luck & pure chance).
The non-trivial naming group must think these names up while at parties.

My understanding is that drug trials are increasingly using adulterated solutions (e.g. a known-harmful adjuvant or another vaccine rather than benign saline) while failing to disclose that. The researchers predictably observe increased harms in the control group, and that data helpfully deflates the relative risk of harm in the treatment group as compared to the sabotaged control group.
If the drug being studied sadly expires 10 of the treated subjects, and the known-harmful “placebo” reliably terminates 15 members of the similarly-sized control group, the collected and reported data indicates the treatment's a real lifesaver!
If someone can obtain a vial of official placebo from one or more clinical trials and analyze the contents, those findings could be very illuminating.
As the placebo is typically another vaccine and not sodium chloride, one wonders what the statistical difference would have been had an actual inert placebo been employed.
Unless the trial is a Hail Mary pass to save a child, I could never understand the need to potentially harm or sacrifice them in this interest of “science “.

Keep in mind a “placebo” may not always be saline, but another vaccine instead, like a meningitis vaccine.
