As an Albertan, I couldn't agree with you more, Jess! Danielle Smith has been under constant attack by the media here and even national CBC got in on the game. Can't have somebody telling the truth now, can we? Unfortunately I fear that the majority of people ,who don't bother looking into things much, will be influenced by all the negative spin. But she really is a breath of fresh air on the political scene!

She is one of a small group of politicians brave enough to actually "follow the science" — the real, inconvenient science. But the attack on Smith is something else... She is fighting against a veritable cult at this point.

Hello Jessica and others,

Living in one of the WEF inner zones, or Rutte country, close to a (still fairly large) EU port surrounded by flat green meadows & marshes plus sloping woodlands to the East (soon to be transmogrified into a 'Green' megapolitan zone descended from a Brussels drawing board) formerly known as The Netherlands, I hear you. 'Going green' is about capture & control & ousting farmers from their land; the very obverse of loving mother earth -- and hugging trees.

So, like many others, I have left the/that left - and in my more dramatic moods, I'll say that the left (as it was, IF it was...) has forsaken me; all it took was to pale into a meaningless term.

If I were the Dutch Steven Kirsch (but am an oldish novelist), I'd invite (among others) Danielle Steele, Tulsi Gabbard, Christiane Anderson, Naomi Seibt (a young voice of reason, who actually finished school; aka the anti-Greta), Maria Hubmer-Mogg (I think she was there last week), Daniel Nagase (gagged by pre-Danielle Albertan medical bureaucrats over HEALING three old people by giving them Ivermectine) to a confererence in Stockholm, Florida or Mexico, paid by me (without mentioning this to the dinosaurs).

I'd also team up with the travel agency Reiner Fuellmich deploys to visit Florida, if I were mr. Kirsch; but not to travel (yet).

Enjoy your day, Jessica Rose.

Wow. A sane person. In office. How the hell did she get elected? Don't they control the vote there like they do in California? Damn. There's hope for at least a part of Canada.

She caught my attention several months back for a (the) politician who APOLOGIZED for lockdowns. Wow. No such character here in the states where the Mäskkenführers and Vax Jim Crows La-dee-dah onwards with no accountability or responsibility born of integrity.

So I listened to a long-form interview with Jordan Peterson one month ago. She was sharp and practical on all things energy: “You can’t use a windmill to make a windmill” and was clear on the tax imbalance/services with Ottawa. Good on her.

I understand from Substack commenters that she has prudentially acquiesced in battling the Covid hysteria for the larger-picture energy independence issue.

Call me an optimistic if slightly disappointed fan. Which is high praise for a politician who is probably a citizen first.

Thanks Jessica, as always.

She'll be getting my vote as well. I'm out of the country (Thailand) but from Alberta and I'll make the effort to get my vote in with the next provincial election.

i wish her and Alberta all the best.

it'll be interesting.

on a side note, they talk about wind turbines...

the problem is under certain weather conditions they'll shut them down and wait even though the wind is blowing.

it is illogical to use more electricity to melt the ice on the blades than they can produce.

the pro wind people seem to ignore that little fact de icing via electricity or chemically

Solidarity from England.

This same Transition crap is happening everywhere. We all need to resist.

The Unjust Transition is rooted in a crackpot conspiracy theory that "Big Oil Causes Wars". Making up evidence of climate change and creating the appearance that life-sustaining carbon is making the planet uninhabitable, seems perfectly okay to the leftist cabal because their goal of World Peace will surely result from the abolition of oil.

Prior to Edwin Drake's oil well in 1859, the Delaware Tribe settlement on Ontario's River Thames collected a wee bit of oil from a seep in the middle of the river and burnt it in lamps. The Delaware were pacifists. When they got pillaged by invading US troops in the War of 1812, none of the invaders knew, or cared, about the oil seep. Earlier history is chock full of wars fought over something or other, so the Oil Causes Wars idea is itself false. There is no sensible reason for a forced "transition", so there cannot be a way to force that "transition" justly.

Gosh! Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a no nonsense, sensible, assertive leader who truly cares for those people who elected her to govern? What a novel idea! Way to go Danielle!

Thank you for this post Jessica. Much appreciated. I, too, have done an 180 turn, as have many of my friends (but not family). As an Albertan I am disgusted by how the CBC is attacking Danielle, though not surprised. I have seen her speak in person 3 times now and have been impressed every time. She is intelligent, understands the nuances behind the issues and is very much awake to what is going on. Hoping there are enough of us out there to keep her in office come May.

Hooray for Danielle! It's time for the middle provinces of Canada to secede, and for the middle states of the USA from the Rio Grande and Gulf coast up to Canada to secede, and unite with Alberta, Saskatchewan, the Yukon and NW Territories to become a great new country with plenty of food and energy and minerals and freedom loving people with fair elections and no CIA , FBI, NSA, or CDC to spy on us or control us, or kill us. Vive Alberta libre!

Hi Jessica,

Listen starting at 45:50 on this video. As unbelievable as it is what is happening is even worst than all these countries being client states of the WEF. I have consumed alcohol only once as a teenager in my entire long life, i was very tempted to go for seconds after listening to this.
