Yet few will see it and fewer will believe it. That a gov't would even conceive of MAID should be reason enough for a regime change.

…and that’s the quandary isn’t? It depends on what tribe you’re part of whether one will watch it. Overcoming this challenge of division is what I don’t know what to do with. There are too many who think it is ok to censor information that doesn’t align with one’s beliefs. If someone watches CNN or a Fox News type shows all day only, how will they be persuaded to think differently? We must try to do life differently because the results have been the same. Confirmation bias is something to be aware of.

Jessica, thanks for your work and efforts. I hope your voice of truth resonates with all.

I watch Fox News all the time and I have yet to hear one of their hosts speak in support of censorship. Your opinion is uninformed.

That’s not what I wrote. Tell me where it is written that I said Fox News supports censorship.

My point is it seems that we are incapable of hearing anything that fails to conform entirely with our own preferred narratives. I can think of many loved ones that should watch the documentary, but they won’t give it the time of day because they will think it’s spin and not fitting to what they believe to be true. Social media takes stuff down that is a threat to the narrative. I don’t know how to overcome that kind of division that is so commonplace today.

You clearly implied that it does.

I rest my case.

You did imply it. You said too many are willing to censor the other side then mention Fox News. Choosing which stories to run with is NOT censorship. Only one side is actively promoting censorship. It is the left.

Warning of this circa 1995.

“I have a foreboding of an America in my children's or grandchildren's time -- when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what's true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness...

The dumbing down of American is most evident in the slow decay of substantive content in the enormously influential media, the 30 second sound bites (now down to 10 seconds or less), lowest common denominator programming, credulous presentations on pseudoscience and superstition, but especially a kind of celebration of ignorance”

― Carl Sagan, The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark

What is interesting is along with this 10 second sound bite headline oriented news is a huge growth in long winded amateur videos discussing complicated events in detail. This is supplanting trash TV news and trash Newspapers. Joe Rogan, not an amateur anymore, and Dan Bongino will get people listening for HOURS!

As a canadian I concur every word that is said in this documentary.

On top of this I am not mRNA inoculated and have been vilified by my own government.

Justin Trudeau and his Liberals broke Canada and it will take decades to heal from the devastation both social and economical they made.

Naah. Even if i were a woke revolutionary, I would not go to work or school dressed as the "opposite sex". They want you to perform a stereotype. They want you to BOW DOWN and comply, and people are doing it. Not by accident, they're making people choose a role in a dramatic triangle: victim, persecutor, rescuer. This is so one dimensional and backwards and people who comply appear pathetic .

Thank-you for sharing. Canada has fallen into the trap of ideological politics. In many ways, our people have little say in what happens. Policy is based on interests from outside sources such as big business and ngos. Many policies are reflected on Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2050 guidelines. Canada also strongly follows recommendations from the World Economic Forum. The connection is Freelands board of trustees position.

Each day I think what sort of craziness will befall this great country today. It is about questioning and noncompliance to things that are pushed on us.

With an approximate span of 20 years of experience-rich life (18-40), those who have eyes, can see. And they can see pretty well. Now, interpreting what we can see may be a high hurdle for most of us. Once you are released in the open, everything is not what you were taught or forced to believe. If you want to remain sane, you will need to demolish all those school-time concepts and create a real philosophy of your life from scratch. Most probably, it won’t be easy on your nerves.

With enough observations, try to find parallels, repetitions, analogies, similarities, all sorts of patterns. Easy, the whole world is built on them. When you see an obvious pattern, you can start drawing conclusions. Here the real game begins.

The most basic pattern for the ruling caste is to set up and control a cycle of building and destroying. You can find it on a small scale in the life of your city: some areas are being advertised as “advanced”, “future”, or “eco-friendly”, and a huge flood of cash flows there. Clearly, these projects are located in places which have to be destroyed, demolished, cleaned up or developed (which also means destruction, but of the local vegetation and water systems, mostly).

After a few years, their owners change their minds and sell their wonder toys. New owners replace the old style, destroy what they have just bought for millions, and build from the ground up new wonder toys. In the meantime… a lot of hard-working people lose their jobs, local trade and services experience ups and downs, banking relations go crazy, tons of regulations change. No country for those who want stability, reliability and honest earning of their dimes. Those who come to build and destroy and those who leave to destroy and build are always the winners. The local environment is always the loser. Or the payer. Check the story of Detroit, 1.8 million inhabitants in 1950s, reduced to 1/3 in 2020s. 1 out of every 3 Detroit residents lives in poverty. What? In 2023, the edge of the 21st century? It looks like we’ve become a suburb of industry-rich China, except that no-one of us will commute there to earn our living. We are doomed to stay here, living on the breadcrumbs from the tables of toymakers. Not a single person in power seems to be interested in restoring the living standards of 1950s…

We need to grow up. Once we stop destroying and building (back or forth, better or worse, whatever), and switch to incremental growth of the society, a real hope will be given a chance. But the initiative is with us, locally. Quite possibly, even on the level of several blocks of caring people coming together and creating real value. Hint, hint: no money is needed for this.
