A note about 'pledges'...

Hello lovelies. I get these email notifications about some of you pledging donations to fund Unconditional Jessica, but this particular newsletter will always be free. So although I am very humbled and honored that you think my words are worth paying for, those pledges won’t make it anywhere. If at any point you wish to subscribe to Unacceptable Jessica, this newsletter has a paid subscriber option but I will never make it only paid, and you absolutely do not have to feel like you have to donate.

I don’t believe in paywalls, in fact, I really can’t stand them. I personally become disinterested in writing or media associated with them. And maybe that’s a juvenile way to be since I do realize that life costs money, but still. I am also a member of the public who not only writes, but reads, and we have to give and take freely as much as possible. Maybe even more than possible.

So I just wanted to let you know how much I love you for pledging but tis’ free.

One day, when I publish my book, feel very free to buy a copy! That would be the most helpful way to support my work, I suppose. My book has been in the works for well over a decade, and it is not even close to being finished. I think I might even have two books out of it. Does that make me an author?
